I'm sorry fofty t shirts,

Whenever he ends up releasing “Street King Immortal,” his long-expected sixth studio album, chart-topping rapper 50 Cent will have plenty of additional dollars to throw around. Until then, the 43-year-old seems intent on existing on what he has and what is owed to him, with the latter type of cash actually increasing the first one thanks to sales from eight T-shirts whose inspiration came from a typo-laden beef between him and a debtor.

Born Curtis Jackson, the performer has torn up the charts since his 2003 debut disc “Get Rich or Die Tryin.’” With plenty of assets in the bank, he loaned $1 million to noted film and television producer Randall Emmett, but the borrower’s inability to pay back all of the seven-figure loan after more than six years led 50 Cent to demand the rest by yesterday. Thanks to that display of insistence, we have an example of micro-moment brilliance, as Emmett’s “I’m sorry FOFTY” text reply to the award-winning artist, and other phone responses that included “FOFTY,” proved irresistible for the lender not to immortalize through the "She Ain't Got It" line.

Sources have revealed that 50 Cent, who took the beef to Instagram, can now rest easily, as Emmett took care of his itchy palm and eliminated the debt.

With the FOFTY fad still in its infancy, sales of the $20.99 shirts will probably continue strong for a bit, since the lender’s persistency paid off and because the typo is just too funny to let slide into text message oblivion. We could be a long way from seeing “Street King Immortal,” but thanks to the T-shirts, we need no further proof that 50 Cent has a pretty eternal reputation as a man who loves his cash like a fat kid loves cake.
